Terms of Use

Last updated: October 3, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of meetion.com (the "Site") and any purchase made through it. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These terms must be read together with our Privacy Policy, our Sales Policy, our Shipping & Returns Policy and our Limited Hardware Warranty. Where one of those documents conflicts with these terms on the handling of a specific order, the document that specifically governs that order applies.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order, or purchase with the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly through the Contact page if you believe your account has been used without your authorization.

You may close your account at any time through your account settings. We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe it has been created fraudulently, is being used to abuse the Site, or its continued operation would breach these terms.

Products and content

Product images, specifications, compatibility information and descriptions are provided for convenience. Hardware and accessories are subject to ongoing development, and products may be updated or discontinued. Where a product image differs from the physical product, the physical product prevails.

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, photographs, video, software and layout — is owned by Meetion or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, publish, republish, distribute, modify or create derivative works from it without our prior written permission, except where the law allows you to do so for personal, non-commercial use.

The MeetOpt application, device drivers, configuration utilities and firmware are licensed to you under the End User License Agreement, which forms part of these terms.

Where you submit content to the Site — a product review, an inquiry, or content you post — you confirm that you own that content or have the right to submit it, and you grant Meetion a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to host, reproduce, display and distribute it as part of operating the Site and showing it to other users. You keep ownership of your content. We will not publish material that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes another party's rights.

Orders, pricing and payment

The full terms on pricing, order acceptance, payment and delivery are set out in the Sales Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: prices are shown in the currency selected at checkout; taxes and duties that we must collect are added before payment; your order is an offer to buy, which we accept when we dispatch the shipping confirmation; and payment is processed by our payment provider.

We may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably believe it contains an error, where a product is unavailable, where the payment cannot be verified, or where we are required by law to do so. Where we cancel an order that has already been charged, we refund the full amount.

Delivery, returns and warranty

Delivery estimates are indicative rather than guaranteed. The terms on shipping, returns, refunds and exchanges are set out in the Shipping & Returns Policy, and the terms on hardware warranty are set out in the Limited Hardware Warranty. Where you have a statutory right that is more favourable to you than our policy — for example the right to return goods within a cooling-off period, or the right to reject faulty goods — that statutory right applies and our policy does not limit it.

Acceptable use

When using the Site, you agree not to:

  • use the Site for anything unlawful, or to distribute harmful, obscene, defamatory or infringing content;
  • interfere with the operation of the Site, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of it, its servers, or any connected system;
  • attempt to gain access to other users' accounts, order data or any non-public part of the Site;
  • use automated tools, scripts, crawlers or bots to scrape content, place orders, or apply promotions in bulk, other than as permitted by standard search engine indexing;
  • misuse a promotion code, attempt to obtain more discounts than intended, or resell Meetion products commercially without our written agreement;
  • misrepresent your identity, or submit false or misleading information in an inquiry, review or partnership application;
  • remove or obscure any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notice on the Site or the products.

We may take down content, restrict access, or suspend an account where these rules are breached, and we may cooperate with law enforcement or rights holders where a notice is received.

Intellectual property complaints

If you believe content on the Site or a Meetion product infringes your copyright, trademark or other right, send a notice through the Contact page. Your notice should identify the work or right you believe is being infringed, identify the material at issue with enough detail for us to find it, provide your contact details and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized, and confirm that the notice is accurate. We will review the notice and where appropriate remove the material.

Third-party services and links

The Site may link to, or offer access to, third-party services such as social platforms, content platforms, payment providers and carrier tracking pages. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, content, or privacy practices, and we accept no liability for them. Your use of a third-party service is governed by its own terms.

Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of malicious code, or that any content will be accurate or current.

Product safety, materials and performance representations are set out on the product page and in the Limited Hardware Warranty. Nothing in this section excludes or limits a warranty, remedy or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including consumer guarantees under the law of your country of residence.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meetion will not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or your purchase of any product, even if we have been advised of the possibility of those damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to a product you purchased is limited to the amount you paid for that product. Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for defective products, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including consumer remedies that the law of your country of residence grants you in addition to these terms.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Meetion against claims, losses, damages and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the Site, your violation of any law or third-party right, or your submission of content that infringes the rights of others. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim arises from our own breach of these terms or of applicable law.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to these terms or to any purchase made through the Site.

Before bringing proceedings, please contact us through the Contact page — most disputes can be resolved quickly without proceedings. If a dispute cannot be resolved this way, the courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region have exclusive jurisdiction, except where you are a consumer and the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings there.

Address for service of process. Notices and documents may be served on SHENZHEN MEETION TECH Co., Ltd. at Flat C, 15/F, Unionway Commercial Centre, 283 Queen's Road Central, Central, Hong Kong.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you through the email address on your account, or through a notice on the Site, before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Site or to place orders after the change is posted means you accept the revised terms.
