Easy to take apart for cleaning
It separates into three pieces without tools, so dust from behind the desk does not stay trapped in the joints.

Clean lines, no visible branding
There is one small mark on the underside and nothing on the front. In a client-facing room that matters.

No sharp edges anywhere
Every edge is deburred and the corners are rounded. I checked because it sits where my arm brushes past it.

Light enough to move, heavy enough to stay
I can lift it with one hand, but it does not shift when the desk is knocked. Getting both right is not as easy as it sounds.

Came through a move without damage
Packed in a box with other desk items and unpacked three weeks later. No bends, no missing parts, no scratches beyond one small scuff.

Works with what I already had
It did not require replacing anything else in the setup. That is the reason I chose this over a more integrated solution.
