Grip pads stay tacky

The rubberised strips on both sides still hold after a year of daily use. They have not turned glossy or peeled at the corner, even where my thumb rests most of the time.

Left switch still crisp at month ten

I click several thousand times a day in a ticketing system. The switch has not softened or started double-firing, which is what killed the last three mice I owned.

Three screens, no re-aiming

I run two monitors plus a laptop panel. Crossing all three takes one long sweep with no need to lift and reposition halfway, which was not true of my previous one.

Works on a hotel desk

Varnished wood, no mat, dim lighting. It tracked without a hitch through a week of travel, and the small size meant it fit in the laptop bag alongside everything else.

Battery spring is very firm

Getting the cells in requires real pressure against the spring, and I worried about cracking the cover. It has loosened slightly with use, but the first change was awkward.

Cursor goes exactly where I aim

After a week I stopped correcting my aim. The pointer follows the same distance every time, so muscle memory builds quickly. That is the whole job of a mouse, and it does it.
