Nice gift for a new laptop
I gave this with a laptop as a graduation present. It looked like a considered pair rather than a cheap accessory thrown in.

The set that ended my cable clutter
Two devices, one receiver, four ports freed. My laptop dock no longer looks like a nest, and nothing has needed re-pairing.

Bought a third for my parents
My parents needed something simple. No software, no pairing beyond the receiver, and large enough legends that they can read the keys.

Tracks well on a wooden desk
No mouse pad needed. The sensor is stable on the varnished surface and the keyboard feet grip without sliding.

Good for a kitchen table office
I work from a table that doubles as a dining space. Both pieces pack away into a drawer in seconds, and they reconnect immediately the next morning.

Second set for a second office
I have one at home and one at the office so I stop carrying things back and forth. Both behave identically, which is what I wanted.
