Good for a fingertip grip
I hold a mouse with my fingertips rather than my palm, and this shape does not force my hand flat. The low front lets my fingers stay curved through a long session.

Heavier than it looks
The photos make it look lighter than it is. That is fine on a desk, but for carrying between meetings I notice it in the bag more than I expected.

No jump on a patterned desk mat
The mat has a printed grid and my old sensor would occasionally lose its place on the darker squares. This one tracks across the whole surface without a stutter.
