Coating holds up to sweaty hands
I run warm and my palms sweat in summer. The surface has not turned shiny or sticky after eight months, and there is no wear patch where my thumb rests.

Cursor sits still when I let go
On my old mouse the pointer crept a few pixels whenever I lifted my hand. This one stays exactly where I leave it, which matters when I am aligning objects in a document.

Left click has a clean break
There is a clear point where the switch trips, so I know whether a press counted. Double-clicks in file explorer happen when I intend them, not by accident.

Weight is right for long sessions
Heavy enough to feel stable on the desk, light enough that my forearm is not tired by the end of the day. I stopped noticing it after the first week, which is the point.

Clicks do not carry on a call
I take four or five calls a day with the microphone open. Nobody has asked what the tapping noise is, which was a daily question with my previous mouse.

Better than the trackpad I was using
Two years on a laptop trackpad left my shoulder tight from reaching across the keyboard. Putting a real mouse beside the laptop fixed it within a fortnight.
