Fine for a student room
Small, cheap and easy to remove at the end of term. It has survived two moves and still works exactly as it did on day one.

Took the weight I needed it to
It is carrying more than the listed capacity and has not sagged. I would not push it further, but it handles my setup comfortably.

Simple thing done well
No app, no battery, nothing to configure. It does one job with no maintenance, and that is what I wanted.

Neat at the back of the desk
From the front it is invisible. From behind, the cabling runs cleanly rather than hanging loose.

Bought after seeing a colleague's
I noticed it on a desk at work and asked where it came from. Ordered the same evening and have been using it since.

Slight play in the joint
There is a millimetre of movement at the main pivot. It does not affect stability, but it is the one detail that stops it feeling perfect.
