Nice surface, edges are slightly raised
Glide and tracking are both good. The stitched border sits a hair above the surface, which I noticed whenever my wrist crossed it in the first week.

Good pad, faint smell at first
Surface and grip are both good. It arrived with a rubber smell that took a couple of days to clear, which is common but worth mentioning.

Thick enough to soften the desk edge
It gives a little under my wrist without feeling spongy. That small amount of cushion made long sessions more comfortable.

Big enough for keyboard and mouse
The desk looks tidier with everything on one surface, and there is enough room left for a notebook. I never run off the edge at low sensitivity.
